The Gardens After Lockout

Burned

No Second Troy

is on the verge of breaking onto the national stage. The band's new LP, "Narcotic," is creating buzz across the country: the band has been featured on XMU's R/A/D/A/R Report, which highlights the top unsigned acts in the nation, and the lead track "Feint" was added to XMU's regular rotation. The band also reached #5 on AlternativeAddiction.com's Unsigned Top Ten a week after the album's first single, "Burned," hit the airwaves in early May. "Burned" also charted at #8 on the K.K.B.B. Indie Top 20 after receiving spins at stations across the country, and recently cracked the CMJ Top 200, debuting at #19 in the Top 20 adds list. "The Gardens After Lockout" and "Brighten Up" were featured on ESPN during primetime, while the video for "Into Your Sun" was released exclusively by SPIN.com.

Featuring the earnest vocals of Jeff Wharen, No Second Troy blends the pop hooks of bands like The Fray, Snow Patrol, and Coldplay with the unique indie-rock arrangements of acts like Death Cab for Cutie, Arcade Fire, and Stars. "Narcotic" was produced by Ted Comerford (Army of Me, Zox), mixed by Jeff Juliano (John Mayer, Jason Mraz) and Mike Plotnikoff (My Chemical Romance, All American Rejects), and mastered by Greg Calbi (the Strokes, Interpol), while Paul David Hager (American Hi-Fi, Avril Lavigne) re-mixed "Burned" for radio. In support of the CD release, NST has been playing dates along the east coast, and to packed houses at the 9:30 club in DC and the Knitting Factory in New York.
